We are a congregation of committed believers in Christ Jesus who have been developing our discipline, fostering our faith, growing our gifts and putting weight in our witness in the Los Angeles community for 124 years. We are the oldest Black Baptist congregation in the city of Los Angeles.
This website is designed to acquaint and familiarize you with the shape and scope of the ministry in which Second Baptist is engaged. After visiting our site, if you have any questions, please feel free to call the church office and ask to speak with Celia Barakat.
You are invited to all our Special Activities and Events which take place throughout the year. As you inspect the website you will find a Calendar of Events which will inform you about the variety of exciting programs we sponsor.
